ELECTRONIC AND NUCLEAR DYNAMICS OF H2+ AND H2 IN INTENSE LASER FIELDS

We investigate the quantal dynamics of the electronic and nuclear wavepacket of H2+ and H2 in strong femtosecond pulses (>10^14W/cm^2). A highly accurate method that can cope with the awkward Coulomb potentials is developed to solve the time-dependent Schroedinger equation without using the Born-Oppenheimer approximation.
