ABSOLUTE MULTIPLE IONIZATION CROSS SECTIONS FOR IMPACT OF C3+ IN RARE GASES

This work presents absolute cross sections for direct multiple ionization
in collisions of C3+ projectiles impinging upon He, Ne, Ar, Kr, and Xe
targets in the energy range from 1.3 to 3.5 MeV. We have analyzed our
results as a function of the reduced parameters suggested by Janev and
Presnuakov in the energy range studied in this work and a quite good
agreement with the results from the literature for light targets atoms is
found.
