Cross sections of multiple electron transfer in Arq+ (q=8-12) on Ne atoms
were measured for energies from 80 to 240keV. The cross section dependence
on the number of electrons captured by projectiles and the charge states of
recoil ions were explained by considering the decay of multiply excited
states both in projectiles and in target ions based on the Molecular
Coulombic overBarrier Model.
