The dynamical spin polarization of photoelectrons emitted during
photoionization of the Xe 5p subshell was calculated and measured over
an extended energy range from 50 eV to above 150 eV.
The measurements support the theoretical prediction at a strong
modulation of the dynamical spin
polarization in this energy intervall where the different theoretical
approaches give nearly identical results.
