PHOTODETACHMENT FROM THE In- NEGATIVE ION A.N.Ipatov and V.K.Ivanov St.Petersburg State Technical University, St.Petersburg,Russia Photodetachment cross section and photoelectron angular distribution for In^- negative ion are calculated within the Relativistic Random Phase Approximation from the threshold up to 20 eV. The cross section is dominated by the 5p_{1/2} -> Ed_{3/2} transition. An interference feature in the vicinity of the 5s_{1/2} threshold is due to inner-electron transition into vacant states in the 5p_{3/2} subshell.
