SYSTEMATIC AMBIGUITY IN THE EXTRACTION OF MATRIX ELEMENTS FROM THE FIVE DYNAMICAL PARAMETERS OF PHOTOIONIZATION B. Schmidtke, M. Drescher, and U. Heinzmann Universitaet Bielefeld, Fakultaet fuer Physik, Postfach 100131, 33501 Bielefeld,Germany For the photoionization from p$_3/2$ and d$_{3/2,5/2}$ subshells an investigation of the analytical relation between matrix elements and dynamical parameters reveals a systematic ambiguity preventing the extraction of a unique set of transition amplitudes and phaseshift differences from a full characterization of the photoelectrons.
