(E,2E) MEASUREMENTS ON THE 3S STATE OF ARGON USING A NEW COINCIDENCE SPECTROMETER M. A. Haynes and Birgit Lohmann School of Science, Griffith University, Nathan, Queensland, AUSTRALIA 4111 A new electron coincidence spectrometer has been constructed. The spectrometer is designed to operate at intermediate incident electron energies and ejected electron energies as low as a few eV. First results from the spectrometer for argon 3s ionization will be presented and compared with distorted wave Born approximation calculations.
