METHOD TO EVALUATE INTEGRAL CROSS SECTIONS FOR
ELECTRON-MOLECULAR SCATTERING

A method to evaluate integral cross sections(ICSs) from measured differential
cross sections has been developed for electron-molecular scattering. The method
is demonstrated with the evaluation of the ICSs for the $X~^1\sum^+ \rightarrow A^1 \prod$ transition in e-CO collision. Our results are compared with other
available data but are closer to those of the R-matrix calculation.
