Towards Control of Cold Molecule Formation
The Photoassociation Process

Our general objective is the theoretical exploration of coherent
control of photoassociation and of formation of cold molecules in
a sample of ultracold alkali atoms. This study, in particular, focuses on 
the optimization of the recently experimentally achieved formation of cold 
cesium ground triplet state molecules in a magneto-optical trap using
chirped pulsed electromagnetic field.
