LIFETIMES OF PREDISSOCIATIVE AND RADIATIVE DECAYS IN THE 
       e$^3¥Sigma_u^+$ AND d$^3¥Pi_u^-$ STATES OF H$_2$ AND D$_2$

A comparison between experimental and theoretical lifetimes for
rovibronic e$^3¥Sigma_u^+$ and d$^3¥Pi_u^-$ states of H$_2$ and D$_2$ is
presented. A delayed coincidence method was used to lifetime
measurement. The non-adiabatic radial coupling matrix elements and
transition dipole moment functions were derived by a direct ab initio
and a quantum defect calculations.
