ELECTRON SCATTERING BY NOBLE GASES (Ar, Kr and Xe) AT
       INTERMEDIATE AND HIGH ENERGIES, 30-10000 eV

In this paper we present semiempirical cross section data for electron
scattering from Ar, Kr and Xe in a wide energy range (30-10000 eV). Simple
analytical expressions have been obtained by combining accurate total cross
section measurements and optical potential calculations 
with an asymptotic behaviour in concordance with the Born-Bethe theory.
