FULL SECOND-ORDER DISTORTED-WAVE STUDY FOR ELASTIC ELECTRON SCATTERING BY
HYDROGEN MOLECULE

A full second-order distorted-wave approximation is applied to study
elastic electron-hydrogen molecule collision in the low- and
intermediate- incident energy range. The method of continued fractions
is used to evaluate the distorted-wave Green's function. Our calculated
differential cross sections are in very good agreement with the
experimental data.
