We have built an apparatus involving a combination of COLd Target Recoil
Ion Momentum Spectroscopy (COLTRIMS) with a laser cooled target. With this
experimental technique we shall investigate differential scattering in
electron transfer Li$^{+}$ + Na collisions in the keV regime, where
typical scattering angles are too small to be measured with conventional
scattering techniques.
