APPROXIMATE WAVE FUNCTION FOR TWO ELECTRONS IN THE CONTINUUM
                         OF THE COULOMB CHARGE

We propose a new base of functions to expand the outgoing scattering state describing two electrons in the continuum of the Coulomb charge. By construction, it satisfies the proper boundary condition when all the particles separate indefinitely. Convenient selection of 
the expansion parameters enables us to reproduce some expected properties of the exact 
three-body scattering state.
