PHOTODISSOCIATION DYNAMICS OF CBrClF2 AT 157 NM Atsushi Yokoyama*, Keiichi Yokoyama*, and Toshiyuki Takayanagi# *Department of Materials Science and #Advanced Science Research Center, Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute, Tokai-mura, Naka-gun, Ibaraki 319-1195, Japan Photodissociation dynamics of CBrClF2 at 157 nm has been studied using a photofragment translational spectroscopy. Primary dissociations of CBrClF2 occurred competitively through a C-Cl bond rupture, a C-Br bond rupture, and a triple dissociation in which the C-Cl and C-Br bonds break simultaneously. The occurrence of the triple dissociation was confirmed by a wavepacket calculation on the nsigma*(C-Cl) and nsigma*(C-Br) diabatic surfaces.
