The fluorescence excitation spectra of neutral dissociation fragments for ethylene in the excitation energy range of 12 - 35 eV have been measured to elucidate neutral-dissociation processes through superexcited states. In addition, the absolute values of the total photoabsorption, photoionization, and neutral-dissociation cross sections in the 10 - 25 eV range have been measured using an ionization chamber. From these results the electronic states of the superexcited ethylene and their neutral-dissociation dynamics are discussed in detail.
