summary
The formation of He2* by the three-body He2+/2e- collisional 
radiative recombination and the He2+/C6F5X- (X=F,Cl) ion-ion 
neutralization reactions has been spectroscopically studied in a He 
flowing afterglow.  The electronic and rotational state distributions 
were determined.  A theoretical approach was attempted in order to 
explain the experimental observation.
