Kobayashi Tokyo Metropolitan University, Tokyo, Japan, *Tata institute of fundamental research, India Fragmentation of multiply ionized NO2 was studied by means of time-of-flight (TOF) measurements with a position sensitive detector. The velocity vector of each fragment ion was calculated from the TOF and 2-d positional data. The detailed analysis of the velocity vectors gives a structure of the dissociating molecule being consistent with known neutral structure.
