SCATTERING OF BOUND POLARON IN AN EXTERNAL LASER FIELD C.SINHA* AND S.MUKHOPADHYAY# *THEORETICAL PHYSICS DEPARTMENT,INDIAN ASSOCIATION FOR THE CULTIVATION OF SCIENCE,CALCUTTA-32,INDIA. #DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS,BRAHMANANDA KESHAB CHANDRA COLLEGE,CALCUTTA-35, INDIA An approach has been proposed to study the scattering cross sections e.g.differential(DCS) and momentum transfer(MTCS)in a strongly bound optical polaron in presence of a Coulomb impurity centre as well as an external single mode linerly polarised laser field which is weak compared to the electron-phonon coupling with a frequency assumed to be much larger than the optical phonon frequency.
