The ejected-electron excitation functions for the lowest 1s2snl autoionizing
states in lithium have been measured at the magic angle of 54.7 and
compared with R-matrix calculations of the total excitation cross-sections
of these levels. Both kind of data reveal the strong resonance features
at 56.8; 58.2 and 59.5+-0.1 eV which are assigned as core-excited negative
ion resonances.
